Shelduck Cottage

Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Peak District from a cosy traditional weavers cottage, with period features. Spend your days relaxing in the hot tub, or for outdoor enthusiasts, explore the Peak District National Park.

Within easy walking distance of a local convenience store and four dog friendly pubs, two of which are award winning gastro pubs. Just a short three minute drive from bustling Holmfirth with its many cafes, pubs, restaurants and specialty local shops, as well as branches of four national supermarket chains.

With most windows framing breath-taking landscapes, guests can fully immerse themselves in the natural splendour of the surrounding countryside. Every reception room and bedroom has an incredible view and both reception rooms are spacious, with plenty of very comfortable seating.

Every detail of the cottage has been meticulously designed to create an unforgettable experience, for example the hot tub has been strategically placed to capture the most spectacular views. Similarly, the upstairs living room with its floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors, seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living.

Should you need a travel cot or highchair, feel free to request them. On-road parking is available, and the property is smoke-free.

Ground Floor:
Kitchen/dining room: With multi-fuel burner, electric cooker, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: With double bed and freestanding roll-top bath in room.
Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and washing machine.

First Floor:
Living room: With multi-fuel burner and Smart TV.
Bedroom 2: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request) and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 3: With four poster kingsize bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 4: With single study bed (can convert to a desk).
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Shelduck celebrating Mum’s 80th birthday. The views + the hot tub are amazing + we loved all of the extra touches including the ducks with names!
