Welcome to the Harlequin Annex, a private space with its own entrance, part of the Harlequin House but completely independent.
Guests have exclusive access to the annex. By prior arrangement, and if the main house is unoccupied, guests may also enjoy the private garden. Use of the hot tub is available upon request, subject to availability, and carries an additional fee (except when the main house is occupied, then the Hot tub will not be available on request as it is in the private garden). Similarly, access to the pool and Swimspa can be arranged.
Harlequin House Floor Layout
The annex features a cozy living room with a two-seater sofa, TV, kitchenette, dining table with chairs, a double study bed, desk, and an en-suite shower room. There’s also a separate bedroom with a king-size bed and another shower room. The living room window offers stunning panoramic views of the countryside and rooftops extending to the Peak District, while the bedroom window overlooks the annex’s side access.

“We have just returned from a great weekend away at harlequin house. Check in was easy and efficient. The house is a lovely space and the photos do not do it justice it was very spacious for our group of 10 and the setting was lovely. Very thoughtful extras too such as a great welcome pack. A 15 min walk into holmfirth too so easy to wander and experience last of the summer wine country. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property and host. Thank you”

“Had an absolutely fantastic family stay at Harlequin house. The attention to detail was great- the welcome treats were a great start to our stay. Rooms were great sizes and plenty of bathrooms for us all. Kitchen was well equipped with two fridges and plenty of pots/pans/utensils. Holmfirth is well worth a visit as well as Cannon Hall Farm if you have children. Would definitely go again.”

“We enjoyed our stay in Harlequin House. The place was as described and well equipped for our party of 10. The hamper was the best we’ve seen with lots of goodies for adults and kids. There was a comprehensive folder full of information about the local area and recommendations! The house was very warm and we really enjoyed the hot tub!
The area is convenient for walking into Holmfirth. It is on a busy road but with windows closed the noise of traffic was substantially reduced.”
